The Foreign State EP is the sound of anger and desperation when your dreams come crashing and the reality of life pushes you down into the basement to dwell on your alienated existence.
The band never played shows with this material as they began progressing towards an aggressive alternative sound on future releases that ironically alienated them even more.
Foreign State is dark, pissed off, and strung out on the fading high of short-lived success from previous projects. Self-recorded by the band in the basement of their Donelson, TN home; these songs were seemingly forgotten and lost (until now).
